Granting DNS access in Cloudflare
How to add ACJ Creative as an admin so we can manage your domain's DNS records.
If you registered your domain through Cloudflare, your DNS zone lives inside your Cloudflare account. To set up or update DNS records on your behalf — for example, pointing your domain to your new website, configuring email, or adding verification records — I need access to your account.
This guide walks you through how to invite me, what that access means, and how to remove it when the work is done.
Why this is necessary
When a domain is registered through Cloudflare, only the account that owns it can manage its DNS records. Unlike other registrars where you can simply hand over your nameservers, Cloudflare’s DNS management is tied directly to your account. There is no way for me to administer your DNS from my own Cloudflare account — I need to be invited to yours.
What to expect
- You remain the account owner at all times. I will only be added as a member.
- As an Administrator, I can manage DNS records, but I cannot access your payment details, transfer or delete your domain, or change your account email or password.
- You can remove my access at any time — instructions are at the bottom of this page.
- Once your project is complete, I will remind you to remove me, or you can do so whenever you’re ready.

Step 5 — Let me know
Once the invite is sent, just let me know by email or message and I’ll accept it and get started.
How to remove my access
Once your project is finished, you can remove my access at any time:
- Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in.
- Click your account name → Manage Account → Members.
- Find my name or email in the list.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) to the right of my entry and select Remove.
That’s it — I’ll no longer have any access to your account.
